2022 Tri-City Baseball/Softball

The East Alton Recreation Department baseball/softball program is designed to provide the participants a full summer of fun and recreation for girls and boys ages 4 to 16 years of age. This begins with coach selection, facility care, quality equipment, and experienced staffing/umpires holding the integrity of the game. The participants are placed on teams and all home games are played at Van Preter Park. All participants will receive a league t-shirt and will be placed in their appropriate division as of their age on September 1st of the current year.

Instructional T-Ball: For boys & girls ages 4 & 5*. An instructional league that will focus on teaching the basic skills and fundamentals of baseball/softball. No standings.

Coach Pitch: For boys and girls ages 6 & 7*. An instructional league for children who are ready to move up from the T-Ball league. No standings.

Boy’s Baseball League: 
Rookie – Pitching Machine for ages 8 & 9*
Minor – Player Pitch for ages 10 & 11*
Major – Player Pitch for ages 12 & 13*
Juvenile – Player Pitch for ages 14, 15, & 16*

Girl’s Softball League:
Ponytail – Pitching Machine for ages 8 & 9*
Petite** – Player Pitch for ages 10, 11, & 12*
Chic** – Player Pitch for ages 13, 14, 15, & 16*
**Petite & Chic leagues will also be playing with teams from Edwardsville.

*All participants are placed in the appropriate league based on their age as of September 1, 2022.
***The Tri-City Agencies are responsible for determining which roster a child is on, not the coaches or parents.
