Street Light Repair
Business Licensing: Business licensing is required for, but not limited to: arcade amusements, circuses, carnivals, billboards/outdoor sign advertisers, itinerant merchants (foodstuffs), dairies, some retail delivery trucks, coffee & tea solicitors, juke boxes, coin-operated amusement devices, cigarette machines, peddlers of general merchandise, skating rinks & gum/candy machines.
Hunting & Fishing License: Illinois hunting and fishing licenses are available in the Village Clerk's office during regular business hours. Identification is required.
Garage & Yard Sale Permits: Garage and yard sale permits are available in the Village Clerk's office. There is no charge for the permit. Two permits are allowed per year.
Voter Registration: Voter registration is available in the Village Clerk's office. Two forms of identification, one with current address, are required. If your name has changed or if you have recently moved, even within the village limits, you must register at your current address.
Notary Services: Notary Public service is available at no charge to village residents. A photo ID with a signature is required.
Street Light Repair: To report a street light out contact the Village Clerk's office at 259-7522. Please give an exact location, if possible. Example: In front of 123 E. Main St., the rear of 123 W. Main St. or 3rd pole east of the intersection of Main and Broadway Sts.
Normal light repairs (bulbs/eyes) will be made within 2 working days following the request. Repairs beyond bulb/eye replacement will be completed with 5 working days (weather permitting) following the request.
