LEAF PICK UP PROGRAM:  Bagged leaves will be picked on Monday's from October 1 through March 31 (weather permitting).  Leaves must be in "biodegradable bags" only.  The bags are available at Ace Hardware, Wal-Mart and other department stores.

Top

LEAF BURNING REGULATIONS:  Residents can burn leaves on their property, but the village requests residents not rake leaves onto the streets or burn them there.  Then street department also requests that residents not rake leaves into the gutters as it causes blockage in the storm drains when it rains.  Leaves can be burned from October 1 through March 31 from 8am - 5pm.

If using the yard waste dumpster, please take the leaves out of plastic bags or boxes.  Such containers hinder the yard waste recycling effort.
