Jr Basketball

WHAT:        Jr. Basketball is an instructional basketball program designed to introduce the basic basketball skills and techniques and introduce children to the concept of team sport.  The baskets will be lowered to help meet their level of skill.  It is most important to understand that this is a fun and noncompetitive program.

WHO:          Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade BOYS & GIRLS

WHEN:        Participants will enjoy a 3 day schedule of Instructional Clinic
Participants will then be divided into teams and play a 10 game schedule beginning the month of February.

WHERE:      All clinic sessions and games will be played at the East Alton Keasler Complex.
 
FEE:            $30     (check availability of Candy Sales)

DEADLINE:           Friday, January 22, 2010  (Additional Late Fee of $10 will be added after deadline)

3 on 3 Basketball Registration Form

3-on-3 Youth Basketball

The 3-on-3 youth basketball program participants will receive league t-shirt, 3 instructional clinic days, 10 game schedule, team shoot-out competition, and individual free throw competition throughout the season.  This program helps develop basic fundamentals of the game, by having fewer players on the court at one time.  Games are played full court, using ½ the gym.   Boy and girls are divided into separate leagues.

Soccer 4 Tots

Spring Soccer 4 Tots is an introductory indoor soccer program aimed at introducing the basic skills of soccer and introducing children to the concept of a team sport.  The participants will have eight game sessions and receive their team t-shirt. This is a non-competitive program.

Soap Box Derby
17th Annual Soap Box Race

RACE DAY – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2010
10 AM TO 3 PM
*Rain Date Sunday, September 12, 2010

  • WHAT:      The Soap Box Race is for participants 8 years and up, 4’ and 4’ 9” and between

55-90 lbs.   The participants will receive a program, race t-shirt and goody bag.  They will have  a soapbox car provided by a car sponsor.  Each participant will be required to practice in a car, prior to racing one down Berkshire Hill.  This race is designed for fun ONLY.  There are no places for finish.  Along with racings, there will also be several vendor activity and food booths for spectators to enjoy throughout the day.

WHAT:  The Keasler Complex open house is a opportunity for kids up to 13 years of age to come in and receive a treat, but is open for all to come in and check out the facility to see what is offered. Stop by for treat and tour.

Youth Christmas Program

Movie Night
